It appears to have been a little while since I last blogged. That is mostly because I have been in Wales with some children and have been doing moving. Wales with children was lots and lots of fun. Although I chickened out of the big ride at the theme park we went to. I did however never chicken out of doing swimming in the sea. Moving has been great. Dad hired a big van with a tail lift, that was very exciting. We even went to Ikea in it. I am now trying to find homes for all of my things in my flat. I keep on thinking I am doing well, and then I find another box with things that I shoved in because I didn't know where they should live. They will all find homes eventually I am sure. My bed, bedside table, sofa bed and drying rack that came from the Swedish people are all rather good. The bed is very comfy, the bed side table very useful (it even has a shelf!), the sofa bed rather fab (it has movable arms, so you can have arms anywhere along the sofa), and the drying rack is brilliant (does folding out in various combinations to give you different amounts of drying space!)
Today I found my way to Tesco's (to take my card for recycling) and to B&Q (for a bath mat, multi plug thingy and some storage boxes). My hallway is full of mostly useful things, most of which I can reach. My bedroom is pretty sorted (I even have two draws dedicated to stationery items). The living room is slowly getting there, but that is taking time. The kitchen needs a freezer and a tidy up, but is fairly sorted. The bathroom is sorted. I've not put out any nick naks or photos or such like yet, I thought they could wait until more things had homes, and then I would know what space in which to put such things. This is incredibly dull and full of parenthesis, i do apologise. I shall try and do something interesting this week, and then maybe my next post will be interesting.

Sunburn
On Tuesday I went to Southwold. It was a very sunny day, but also was quite windy. I didn't put any suncream on my face, coz my moisturiser has sun protection in it. About 2 o'clock in the afternoon I thought, oo I should put some suncream on. So I put some on my arms (all the way to the top), and my friend put some on the back of my neck. I was wearing a rather large circular necklace. I now have a fair bit of red just below my neck. And a larger white circle in the middle of it. I am finding this very amusing (which is good, because otherwise I think I would find it very sore!) Right now off to the kitchen to make it look all spick and span.

Well
Thank you to people who did replying/blogging, it was lovely having something to read.
I have been on holiday for the last week. That would be the reason I have not blogged for some number of days. We went to North Norfolk (Armstrong's know how to live!) The weather was varied (I'm British, I have to talk about the weather.) We went to a sea life centre. The otters being fed and the penguins being fed and the baby crabs and rays were the best bits of that. We went on a boat and saw some seals. The boat and the seals were the best bits of that. We saw Ben and Leanne for a bit as they happened to be on holiday in the same area. The Ben and the Leanne were the best bits of that. Dad had his birthday. The birthday meal was the best bit of that. We went to a beach (three times!) Watching the sunset was the best bit of that. Me and Paul took a jaunt to a local town. The chips we ate that no one else knows about was the best bit of that. I read lots and lots of books, and made some cards, and won at monopoly. Reading and making crafts and winning were the best bits of that. I had some Waggle Dance and Bishop's Finger and Ruddles Rhubarb. The Waggle Dance was the best bit of that.
The next few weeks are going to be busy. I will tell you about them as they happen. (notice I say 'you' in that last sentence, that is so that whoever is reading thinks that this is written just for them to read, and therefore feel it brings them that bit more warmth and joy.)

Smiles
So I am thinking I need something to make me do a smile. I know what I think, I will read my friends blogs, then I will smile.
Leanne - not blogged for ages.
Mark - don't understand the jokes (this may be because they are not funny, or because they are not intended as jokes they are just stories or suchlike, and I just don't understand Mark.)
Phil - not done blogging for like over a week. Maybe he is not feeling well. It is not always a funny blog, but it is usually blogged on more.
Kev - not blogged for so long he maybe doesn't exist anymore (because of course if you do not exist on a blog you do not exist IRL.)
Neil - not blogged in like a month. And there I was thinking now he has done all his work maybe he will be funny now. Apparently no.
Paul - blogged a song that I have heard him sing and go on about so much it is not so fun as a blog.
Gareth - blog does not exist.
Hayley - blog does not exist (not that is makes much difference, it's not like she blogged).
So really I am thinking, still no smiling to be done.

Apparently this is fun
Type in your name followed by needs, and blog the first ten answers that come up.
Ruth needs hugs.
Ruth needs a husband
Ruth needs to be cleaned
Ruth needs to seek a different profession because she just doesn't have that hunger anymore
Ruth needs money
Ruth needs a short course in label-reading
Ruth needs help with typing, filing, answering phones, copying, and other administrative tasks
Ruth needs money
Ruth needs to photograph things or use her own "clip art" collection
Ruth needs to meet with Chris to go over the songs before Chris and Charlie go into the studio
Righto, well I'm glad we've cleared that up and now we all know what Ruth needs. Wasn't that fun.
